| Why preserve a wedding gown? | |||||||||||||
Preserving of Wedding Gowns Packaging a properly cleaned gown is the second step in the preservation process. The goal is to protect the gown from obvious problems such as insects and moisture, but equally important, to protect the gown from continuous exposure to oxygen and light. This protection is provided using special materials designed for fabric preservation. All materials are acid neutralized so that they will not provide a source of deterioration. The gown is bust formed and beautifully folded with tissue. It is then placed inside a display box so that the gown is protected from light but can be viewed. The display box is protected by a white corrugated shipping container. Important Suggestions why fresh touch |
